Air Via was registered in 1990, as the first Bulgarian privately-owned airline. The company is licensed and certified according to the Bulgarian and European standards for non-regular transport of passengers (usually designated as "charter").

Air Via operates 5 brand new aircraft Airbus A320-232 manufactured in 2006 (2 acft.), 2007 and 2010 (2 acrft). We were the first Bulgarian airline to introduce this type of aircraft in Bulgaria in 2006.

Air Via offers a full range of passenger charter services including, but not limited to ACMI, wet lease, dry lease, damp lease, Ad-hoc orders.

Our major clients during the past 21 years have been the biggest European tour-operators and airlines such as TUI, Thomas Cook, Mersher Carrier Consult, Aegean, MEA, Air Berlin, Olympic, Wizz Air. We have worked also with more than 30 other tour-operators and airlines, including Rewe group, Jetair, FTI touristic, Bahrain Air, Tunisair, Astra Airlines. We are a preferred choice of government delegations, sports teams and artistic performers.

We have operated from base airports in Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Spain, Iraq, Albania and other countries. Our team of pilots, technicians, cabin crew and commercial staff has an extensive professional experience and a proven track record in different multicultural environments.

The Company is a member of IACA (International Air Carrier Association).

Air Via is certified as an IOSA Operator under the IATA Operational Safety Audit Programme.
